The purpose of this is to attract people to the show Game of Thrones and it is supposed to appeal to people to convince them to watch the show. The audience includes all game of thrones fans and people who read newspapers. This genre is in the print media and is in a text mode. It uses rhetorical appeals like pathos so that people connect to it. They want people to connect with this piece because then it is more likely to be influenced by it. The design uses visuals and fake news articles to mirror a real newspaper this is an interesting way to persuade people because it stands out as a way of advertisement
